In many applications, LPWAN technologies are not desirable due to limitations in coverage as well as the associated subscription costs. In applications which scales to hundreds or thousands of devices in a site, such as Smart Building or Smart Agriculture, it is desirable to have a local network, which allows for great coverage as well as low cost of operation.
NeoMesh, is a second-generation wireless mesh network, which tackles the challenges with LPWAN based installations.
NeoMesh relies on a mesh topology of devices which can all run on small batteries for many years. The de-centralized network management allows for great scalability and removes single-point-of-failure issues which leads to a highly robust and reliable communication system.
This presentation will dive into the details of how NeoMesh achieves the unique second-generation Mesh Network characteristics and provides examples on how NeoMesh is being used in a number of applications, all taking advantage of the unique characteristics which NeoMesh offers.
